She’s a youtuber who said ‘tranny’ in a video in 2008 so now she’s getting death threats and people found out where she lives and stuff

That’s so crazy! Do you know what context she said it in?

She makes sex ed videos on youtube, but she's also said MAJORLY PROBLEMATIC things about trans* people and Islam and so on, and when confronted with legitimate criticisms, she gave a half apology that really wasn't an apology. I assumed she said “tranny” in a joking way without realizing it but I didn’t know she said multiple things. I see a lot of people defending her but maybe she doesn’t deserve it. She definitely doesn’t deserve death threats though

I had never heard of her before this so I’m just going by what people are telling me. I agree that no one is perfect but if you’re in the public eye you have to be careful about what you say

The death threats are ridiculous especially since she apologized. It may not have been very sincere but it’s not like she totally ignored it. Maybe she just does understand why it was wrong. Idk this whole thing is crazy.
